Flock Matters is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the emotional and behavioral well-being of dogs—especially those experiencing stress, instability, or limited access to care in shelters, transitional homes, and urban communities.

At Flock Matters, we envision a world where every dog—regardless of their circumstances—can experience a life of emotional safety, enrichment, and joy.
By expanding access to education, enrichment tools, and compassionate care, we strive to help dogs and their guardians thrive together, even in the face of stress, change, or challenging environments.
Who We Serve
Flock Matters is dedicated to the emotional wellness of dogs—especially those navigating life in shelters, transitional housing, or high-density urban environments. These dogs often experience chronic stress, under-stimulation, and behavioral challenges that go unseen but deeply impact their well-being.
We partner with shelters and rescue organizations to provide enrichment kits, calming tools, and support resources that help reduce kennel stress and create healthier, more hopeful experiences for the animals in their care. By improving daily life inside shelters, we help dogs become more adoptable and more emotionally resilient.
We also work to equip dog guardians with accessible education, simple tools, and compassionate guidance—so they can better understand and respond to their dogs’ emotional and behavioral needs at home. Through thoughtful content and community partnerships, we promote a deeper, more informed bond between people and their dogs.
Our team has supported numerous shelters across the U.S. through Lambwolf, including Lost Paws Animal Rescue. With Flock Matters, we’re excited to deepen and expand these partnerships. Below are just a few of the organizations we’re honored to support—with more to come.
